SportChek Fall 2009 Fashion Photography

While some photographers don't classify this type of photography as "fashion photography" I'd have to say I do. The biggest difference between this sort of shooting vs. something like the shoots I've done for fashion editorials/designers is that you have to get through 20+ outfits in a day at multiple locations using mostly natural light. So, instead of spending an hour lighting (or prelighting to be technical) the photo you wander around an area and improvise. These first two shots were taken in a back alley just off of 10th Ave. in Calgary (just West of Karo).
