The Grass is Greener with Photoshop

With architectural & interior photography (or in this case exterior photography) I often perform a bit of photoshop magic to make the image perfect but not a misrepresentation. In this photograph for a Calgary based luxury home builder, Taradar Homes, the grass in the foreground was completely brown and the sky was a bit washed out. Through the use of multiple exposures and layering them in photoshop you can bring out contrast and richness of colour to ensure the image pops off the page when printed or shown on a website. Often the amount of time spent in front of the computer is more than half the time of the shoot itself. Being neurotic about the details certainly doesn't help ;)
