Simple, classic lighting.

Photographic lighting at an advanced level can often be extremely complicated. This shot was quite the opposite. Camera right to our model was a 6 foot Octo softbox that was pointing a little ahead of her. This was done to feather the light off the white background making it gray with a gentle gradient. Absolutely no fill was used to create as much tonal contrast as possible. It makes the image more 3D which was important since the goal of this lingerie photo was to show shape.
